Guardian Generation 2 software version 1.7.0 safe launch plan phase 2

Further to our 06 February 2024 notification, Seeing Machines will commence phase 2 of the Guardian Generation 2 software (SW) version1.7.0 safe launch plan (SLP) on 20 February 2024
Safe launch plan
Phase 1 of the SLP for SW version 1.7.0 has now concluded. We are pleased to report this update continues to achieve anticipated results and the algorithm is performing the same as 1.4.7 and 1.6.1.
Key dates for the SLP are currently as follows.*
Phase 2 (additional 1,000 vehicles) – 20 February 2024
Phase 3 (additional 1,500 vehicles) – 05 March 2024
Global release (available for all remaining vehicles) – 19 March 2024

Software improvements
For information on all improvements included in SW version 1.7.0, please refer to our 06 February 2024 notification.
Release of SW version 1.7.0 will be applied over-the-air (OTA) to Guardian systems running on SW version 1.6.1 and above. Systems running on SW version1.4.7 and older are unable to be updated OTA.
What action is required?
New Guardian units installed during the SLP period noted above will automatically be updated to SW version 1.7.0.
