Guardian Generation 2 software version 1.7.0 global release

Dear Colleague,

Seeing Machines is pleased to advise the safe launch plan for software version 1.7.0 has successfully concluded. This software update will be made available to all customers from 19 March 2024.

Installation Certified Technicians will be able to download SW version 1.7.0 from the Technical Communications Portal (TCP)

Installers and trainers

Installation Certified Technicians will be able to download SW version 1.7.0 from the Technical Communications Portal (TCP) for use in new installations.

Upgrade compatibility

OTA updates can only be applied to systems on SW version 1.6.1 and above. If your system is not on software version 1.6.1, please contact your Account Manager to discuss your options.

Global rollout

Seeing Machines will automatically push out this software update OTA to all remaining systems on 19 March 2023.
